like prior histories patchy at best
with few exceptions as hair-splitting
semantic quibblings ending
in unintended intimacy
with the bare necessities creeping in
intermingling misunderstandings
taking on sharing not yet fully grasped
while still scavenging for validity
becoming completely ensnared
along divergent paths of indigenous matters
unable to give back the unimaginable at random
by then the die will have been cast
irritated scared going nowhere
having mismanaged magnetic attractions
on excavated canvases yielding no satisfactory
comparisons as striking similarities
while looking to the savannah
ancestral hominid and animal left intact...
