Responding in kind
while toppling power lines
as a fierce lie bypassed entirely online
including traditional allies often unedifying
crystallizing defiant denials disregarding warning signs
sharply divided as seen in the wild nobly fusing art and science
as if in the final moments of life, “hiya” yet left un-identified
like “Gesundheit” improvised and self titled “on the dark side”
with marbles for eyes uneven jawlines and a distinct overbite
finally reunited disguised delight where there once was a “wildness”
left unrecognized separated from society behind pearly drapes of light
lovely even dreamlike—just for spite!
