for tough tasks
due to disparity

yet claiming victory
in an Olympic shoot out
all with a sense of humor
including beauty Intrigue
and hard-wired fears

as hunters become quarries
in dense dense forests
of “No Easy Bargsin”
leaving pale contrails
in a windless darkness
along with a shot or two of vodka

when poaching is involved
donning fatigues and camouflage
like armed states of poor economies
pilfering TNT having been robbed
from armored vehicles

running rings around irises
of the eyes of the tiger
thinly disguised glistening
well past midnight
beneath slits of dim moonlight...
