Too close to call shortly
after a frantic cascade
of ominous on the job training
for first-time candidates
letting the chips fall
where they may for former aides
culminating in televised raids
after 8 days of strained deliberations
chanting, “ We demand change!”
erroneously claiming, “Childbirth
will ease the pain” stating, “Truths
are quite hard to find these days”
It’s a matter of pride
imposed by supervisors
of the dangerous kind
after leaving large cavities behind
having been threatened many times
yet still not knowing “where”
or “how” to hide, not even “why”
sometimes seen as a sense
of entitlement via gun licensing
bearing a striking sense of real surprise
keeping both sides of each and every
story in mind thumbing triggers idly
pulling upward while firing
ejecting spent shells to the right...
